“ We hired Toby to play at our wedding and couldn’t be happier with the decision. Leading up to the event, he was professional in his communication and we could tell it was important to him to make sure he understood what we wanted. When we let him know what song we planned the bride to walk down the aisle to, he sent us a recording of himself playing it to make sure it was right and that we were happy with it. Because of the pandemic, we had to change our wedding date twice, but Toby was flexible and understanding about the situation.
When day finally did arrive, Toby got to the venue early and double checked with us that the spot he was set up in was correct and that the sound level was where we wanted it. We had a lot of segments between the ceremony, speeches, photos, and a special performance and he was able to seamlessly transition between all of them.
Toby did an amazing job setting the mood for our wedding. We could tell what a difference it made because he had guests humming along to him. Many of them even commented on how much better the atmosphere was to have a live musician playing the whole day.

“ We hired Toby to perform at our wedding and he was just perfect! From the start, Toby was a pleasure to work with. He was very professional and patient with all our questions and requests. We provided him with the songs that we wanted for our wedding processional and signing and he was quick to work with us and sent us a fantastic recording of his renditions. The song arrangements were all that we imagined and they were timed perfectly to each setting. He also arrived early the day of to set up and that definitely helped ease our minds. Toby really helped set the mood during the cocktail hour. He played songs from multiple genres and decades and we’ve heard many comments from our guests on how much they enjoyed the music. During the reception, one of our guests asked Toby to play a special song for us out of the blue and Toby was quick to improvise which helped create such a beautiful moment on our special day.

" Let me start of by saying that when we found Toby, he was extremely professional and easy to work with. We provided him with possible songs that we would like for him to play for our wedding cocktail hour and he already had many of them in his repertoire. He was diligent and arrived to the venue before his hired time to set up.
When my wife and I arrived at our cocktail hour, Toby was already serenading the guests with beautiful renditions of familiar instrumental covers of top 40 songs as well as classics to accommodate all age groups. He was very interactive and had a great presence that made many of our guests sing along with him while he played classics such as Hotel California. Many of our guests had amazing comments about him and were very happy with his song selections.

Amazing help for surprise proposal!
" Stumbled upon Toby through Gigsalad and went to see one of his live performances at Unionville and immediately knew I wanted his help in playing for my surprise proposal to my girlfriend! He was very familiar with the area which helped a lot and came early to set up and got everyone in a really really good mood. His rendition of Perfect by Ed Sheeran was just beautiful and perfect for when I proposed. After the proposal, he came to the restaurant, where we were having dinner and played all night! I originally told him that he could leave after an hour but the stayed the full 3 hours. Everyone at the proposal loved the songs he played and he was even able to play requests after listening to them only once. All of my guests told me that he was amazing and had only good things to say about his performance. Without Toby, the evening would have been dull but he really helped liven everything up.

" We hired Toby for our wedding banquet and he was amazing! He was professional and polite in all our communication before the wedding. On the wedding day, he came early to set up. We had some issues with our own audio equipment, and Toby came to the rescue and fixed everything for us, even though that was not part of his job. Thank you so much for improvising!
From our entrance, to our first dance, to speeches, to saying goodnight, Toby made all the transitions seamless. He is professional and knows exactly what’s going on during the night and played the right music. Near the end, my nephew and nieces were running around, and Toby even played some kiddie songs and kept them entertained, what a lovely sight.

From the moment we contacted Toby for our wedding he was kind courteous and prompt in his responses.
He sent us a set list along with a prompt for any songs that we would like. He worked with us on the timing that he would play for our wedding.. We chose some welcome music, the processional and a cocktail hour.
Toby arrived early to set up. I was so busy trying to get ready that I wasn't there to direct him but he found the perfect spot. Had all this equipment and best of all was so calm and reassuring as I was very nervous when walking down the aisle.
He plays beautifully. And I can say that you will not be disappointed in your choice if you go with Toby. My guests loved him. I have many years of instrumental training as do my friends. Many of whom have studied music as part of their post secondary degree. So we know our stuff and have high standards. He exceeded them.
